About Will

Will Henley is Director of External Affairs at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), where he is responsible for strategic advocacy and communications, media engagement and public affairs. Prior to joining GWEC, Will was Head of Corporate Affairs at Corio Generation, a subsidiary of Macquarie Asset Management, and served as a steering group member of the Global Offshore Wind Alliance. With a background in journalism including writing for The Guardian about sustainable business, Will later served as Spokesperson for the Commonwealth Secretariat and as Communications Adviser for FTSE 100 business BG Group on a multibillion dollar LNG project in Australia, as well as leading communications and advocacy at the International Hydropower Association.
