About Janice

Janice Cheong is Head of Policy at the Global Wind Energy Council and serves as a Policy Advisor to the Global Offshore Wind Alliance.

She leads GWEC’s global policy advocacy and government engagement, driving work across key cross-cutting priorities including industry development and supply chains, investment frameworks, and market design. Working closely with regional and country teams worldwide, Janice advances coordinated policy action to secure stable, investable, and scalable frameworks for the wind industry.

Janice has private sector experience across the technology industry, political risk consulting and security and intelligence operations. She is a graduate of King's College London with a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in International Relations and University College London with a Masters of Science in Security Studies.
