About Gustavo

Gustavo is an engineer with a deep passion for renewable energy, particularly wind power. His career has centered on the development and execution of both onshore and offshore wind projects, combining technical expertise with global perspective.

Before joining the Global Wind Energy Council, Gustavo served as Development Manager at Corio Generation, where he led offshore wind initiatives across Brazil, the USA, Portugal, and Greece. Prior to that, he was Project Manager for GE’s onshore wind business in Brazil, overseeing the construction of over 1 GW worth of wind energy.

Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Gustavo is fluent in Portuguese (native), English, and Spanish.
