Capturing Green Recovery Opportunities From Wind Power In Developing Countries 2022

This report reflects a study of wind energy potential in developing economies around the world over the next five years, from 2022-2026, with the aim to highlight the vast and largely unexploited socioeconomic and environmental opportunities attached to wind energy. Accelerated deployment of wind projects will not only support climate action, but help countries to realise a range of benefits from job creation to cleaner air. The study identifies three common barriers facing wind energy deployment in developing economies and provides recommendations on how these barriers can be overcome.

Este informe refleja un estudio del potencial de la energía eólica en las economías en desarrollo del mundo durante los próximos cinco años, de 2022 a 2026, con el objetivo de destacar las vastas oportunidades socioeconómicas y ambientales en gran medida no explotadas vinculadas a la energía eólica. La implementación acelerada de los proyectos eólicos no solo favorecerá la acción climática, sino que ayudará a los países a advertir un rango de beneficios, que van de la creación de empleos a un aire más limpio. El estudio identifica tres obstáculos comunes que enfrenta la implementación de energía eólica en las economías en desarrollo y ofrece recomendaciones sobre cómo pueden sobrellevarse.
