Copenhagen, Denmark, 15th September 2026 – The Renewable Construction Academy, RECOA, and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) today announced a new Knowledge Partnership aimed at strengthening workforce development and improving access to high-quality training across the global wind energy sector.
As part of the partnership, RECOA will sponsor 100 licenses for its Introduction to Offshore Wind (IN05) training course through GWEC's Women in Wind initiative, helping to expand learning and career development opportunities for women pursuing careers in the wind industry.
The partnership also establishes a framework for broader collaboration on training, industry outreach, and professional development. GWEC members will benefit from preferential access to RECOA's training programmes through discounted course offerings, while both organisations will work together to promote skills development and lifelong learning throughout the sector.
