All signs point to a flourishing future for Mexico’s wind energy sector. The existing target of 35% of electricity from renewables by 2024 will require a minimum of an additional 12,000 MW of wind, probably more. But how will this be achieved, given the complexities of Mexico’s electricity sector, and the reform which is underway at the moment? Who will build out the necessary grid infrastructure, and how will it be financed?
Experienced global and local industry figures will lead the discussion on these questions and other major areas of wind energy, including regulation and infrastructure, sustainable development, financing, technology, value chain and electric system management.
Be part of the discussions! Submit an abstract and let your voice be heard at Mexico WindPower 2014. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and those selected will have the opportunity to be presented at the congress.
