全球风能日敦促G8 领导停止化石燃料补贴转向支持可再生能源
Global Wind Day urges G8 leaders to stop subsidising fossil fuels and switch to renewables
每年的6月15日全球风电产业庆祝全球风能日,这一活动使全球公众有机会了解全球风电的发展情况。今年的活动围绕着一个在线活动,该活动向全球各国的领袖施压,特别是在6月17-18日G8会议前夕,要求他们承诺停止补贴化石燃料转而支持可再生能源。化石燃料的补贴自2010年以来增长了30%,达到6200亿美元。而今天的化石燃料所得到的补贴量是可再生能源的六倍。同时大气中的二氧化碳浓度达到了历史最高值400ppm,极大地阻碍了减少人类活动造成的温室气体排放的目标。
“当全球领袖们口头承诺应对气候变化的时候,他们实际的做法确是在以110美元/吨的价格对二氧化碳的排放进行补贴,化石燃料的补贴将使我们在保护气候的路上越行越远,”全球风能理事会秘书长Steve Sawyer说。
风电已经成为主流能源。在澳大利亚和巴西,风电的价格都低于传统能源。而在其他很多市场内,风电正在开始和传统能源竞争,如墨西哥、新西兰、南非,中国的某些地区和美国。风电成为电力公司、能源规划者、政府实现能源多样化,降低二氧化碳排放和遏制空气污染的技术选择。风电也成为创造就业以及保护经济不受波动的燃料价格困扰的一个战略性政策选择。如果支持政策得当,那么风电在2020年将达到1000GW,并且可以每年帮助减排二氧化碳90亿吨。
在全球各个市场的民意调查显示,风电广泛地被民众接受,这也成为传递给政策制定者的一个重要信号。根据Eurobarometer的民意调查,89%的欧洲公民支持风电,而仅有43%和36%的民众支持火电和核电。2012年美国的民意调查显示,71%的美国人希望更多的风电发站, 而在加拿大渥太华78%的民众认为风电是最安全的发电方式。而英国的调查显示,2/3的民众支持风电发展。
