Call for Papers now open for Brazil Windpower 2014!

26-28 August 2014, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Brazil currently ranks 13th in terms of installed wind capacity, and this will undoubtedly improve further over the coming years with 10.3 GW of additional capacity already contracted to be built out by 2018, which will bring total capacity to 13.8 GW, with more to come in auctions in 2014. The fifth edition of Brazil Windpower will offer the ideal opportunity for the whole supply chain to meet and discuss the vast opportunities to grow and further develop business in Brazil.

This year, an additional seminar will be integrated into the programme to accommodate the growing need for Operations and Maintenance in the sector, now that many of the contracts related to the first round of installations are coming to an end.  The seminar will bring technicians and engineers together to discuss the challenges for the supply chain in the region.  A separate exhibition area will also be dedicated to this topic.

The Call for Papers for Brazil Windpower will close on 31 May.  Details of the topics covered in the call, as well as rules for submissions, can be found at
