GWEC Publications
GWEC publishes a number of publications each year to support our policy work and the policy work of our partners in both national trade associations and transnational policy organisations.
Our Global Wind Report - Annual Update publication is used to inform the media and policy makers about the dramatic growth of the wind power industry each year.
Our regional reports are used by GWEC, national associations and civil society to help governments understand the potential of wind power in certain markets, which can then be used in planning national energy policy. For example, our India Wind Energy Outlook 2011 was used by IWTMA in India to encourage the federal government to increase national targets for wind power.
